Fr Clement Kholapa
Founder
Franciscan priest of the Roman Catholic church and founder and financier of St. Bonaventure Skills and Training Center Fr Clement is also a lecturer at the Franciscan Seminary in Pretoria. His passions are to improve the lives of the youth and the poor in society and build bridges between those who have and those who do not have.
Adele Andrews
Chairlady

Wife and mother who is passionate about uplifting communities through education. Has done volunteer work for various NPO’s. Owned her own business supplying corporate gifts and promotional items. Prior to that, worked as a marketer for a leading Insurance Company. She also helps raise funds and donations for the Barrage Community Project.
Filipe Luís Galvão
Vice Chairman

Cyber Security consultant, for the African market. Soccer coach and referee until 2018. Married with three children. Filipe enjoys the sensation of praising God and doing good by helping people in need.
Mary Matli
Secretary of the Board

She is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic church in Bophelong. Mary started rendering her services to the centre voluntarily since 2017 to 2022 as General Assistant.
Dorita-Maria Da Gamma
Treasurer

Parishioner at St Francis of Assisi Vanderbijlpark. Dorita is a business owner who has always worked in retail. She is dedicated to giving back to the community.
Sister Collette Sele
Board Member

A Franciscan Sister of Siessen who volunteers her services by assisting the Center through fund applications.
Mari Meiring
Assistant Secretary

Mari is a married mother of four who worked in nursing before becoming an Estate Agent. She also studied Equestrian. She's grateful to be involved with the St. Bonaventure Centre team and fundraising for the Barrage Community Project.

Our facilitators are passionate about sharing their trade and teaching with love, care, and expertise. They create a supportive and empowering environment to help students unlock their full potential.
Antony Chapika
Carpentry Facilitator

Carpentry teacher and facilitator. Anton has a BSC in Agriculture and prides himself as quipping those that are disadvantaged with skills.
Alexander Gama
Carpentry Facilitator

Alexander has a bookkeeping and financial management diploma. He has worked at St Bonaventure as a carpenter for four years, and is now a facilitator. Alexander is hard working and loves his job.
Ibrahim Assan
Sewing Facilitator

Sewing teacher with 7 years experience who wants to impart his knowledge to those he teaches, so that they may be proficient in the manufacturing of all types of clothing and work-wear. He wants to help others to become confident enough to produce their own creations.

Simone Monise
Welding Facilitator
Welding Instructor who is a qualified training practitioner in boiler-making and welding. He is a PC2 verifier and is an accreditor for both boiler making and welding. Simone wants to impart his knowledge of welding to the students and wants only the best for them and their future.

Charlotte Moss
Welding Facilitator
Charlotte has 12 years experience and is very passionate about her job. She wants to empower underprivileged kids get to succeed and ‘acquire wings and fly into the corporate world’. She aims to install confidence in order that the students can stand up for themselves and be come proud of who that are.
Malope Martin
Office Manager

Malope has a BA Degree in Philosophy, a diploma in Religious Studies & a National Certificate - Information Technology. He manages customer service, orders, quotations, invoicing, stock control, student registration, social media, and marketing materials to ensure the smooth running of the centre.

Accounting Officer

He has experience in both corporate and community experience spanning over 30 years in:Project Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain Management, Construction, Management, Financial and Budget
Mikayla Maher Andrews
Lawyer

Mikayla is an Admitted Attorney with expertise in commercial law and specialized financing. She's the owner of Maher Attorneys Inc. and holds a Master's Degree in Intellectual Property Law with Distinction. She also helps fundraise for the Barrage Community Project.

Brother Kgosi
Director & Guardian of La Verna

Kgosi is a representative of The Franciscan order and reports directly to the Provincial Councilors on a monthly basis, on matters concerning St Bonaventure Center.

Retired after 30 years as Group Public Relations Manager at Adcock Ingram and also worked at Tiger Brands. Currently Vice Chairwoman of Save The Vaal Environment and a member of the Thornhill Village Committee. She assists St Bonaventure in promoting the skills project and with expert
