La Verna Catholic Church
Founded in 2017

The centre was built and equipped with private funding in 2017. It is situated on Roman Catholic Church property at the La Verna Retreat Centre at the Vaal Barrage.
The Centre has been operational teaching carpentry, welding & sewing skills .

Our Aim

The centre aims to work towards self-sustainability by charging small fees for training as well as selling products created during training.We also seek any form of donations from the business community and private sector. Donations are tax deductible in terms of section 18A of the Income Tax Act.
